The Centre for
Personal Construct
Psychology

The Centre for Personal Construct Psychology is a major focal point for information and resources about George Kelly's Personal Construct Psychology.

The Centre was founded by Fay Fransella Ph.D, C.Psychol, FBPsS in the early 1980s. Since then people connected with the Centre have applied Kelly's psychology in many areas of personal and organisational life. The Centre's subsidiary company, PCP Centre Limited was a founder member of the United Kingdom Council on Psychotherapy.

The Centre offers a distance learning course in personal construct psychology and its methods of inquiry as well as face-to-face workshops. Courses can also be provided in-house. Full details of all the courses and workshops offered by the Centre can be found by clicking here

Those on the Centre's Register have access to The Fransella Collection of PCP books, theses and unpublished manuscripts at the University of Hertfordshire (on a reference basis only).

As well as services to individuals such as coaching, the Centre provides services to organisations including:

1. A diagnostic research service to: establish organisational culture/climate (e.g. in relation to mergers/takeovers); inform organisational change programmes; assist team building strategies; facilitate knowledge transfer; establish training needs and to evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes.

2. Personal development mentoring for managers and executives.

3. Conflict resolution services.

4. In-house workshops to meet specific organisational needs.
