Services to Individuals Offered by the Centre

Courses and Training in Personal Construct Psychology

The Centre offers a distance learning course in personal construct psychology and its methods of inquiry as well as face-to-face workshops. These courses and workshops are for anyone who is interested in personal construct psychology and its methodologies. They can also be provided in-house.

Fay Fransella and Peggy Dalton developed the first courses on personal construct psychology. In 1983, the Centre began offering diplomas in the applications of personal construct psychology. These diplomas were mainly devoted to the study and practice of personal construct counselling and psychotherapy. Initiated by Helen Jones, the Centre became a founder member of what is now the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

Training in personal construct counselling and psychotherapy in the United Kingdom is now offered by the independent organisation, PCP Education and Training Limited. Anyone interested in training as a personal construct counsellor or psychotherapist should contact Peggy Dalton e-mail Peggy Dalton (Daltonpcp@aol.com)
